Now Assembled slice

Line your slice tin with baking paper, ensuring that some hang over the edges so you can easily lift it out later.
Put one sheet of puffy pastry flat on the base of the tin.
Carefully pour the warm custard over the pastry, spreading it evenly to cover the surface.
Lay the second sheet of pastry on top and press it down lightly to hold everything in place.
Cover the tin and place it in the refrigerator for at least 3–4 hours, or overnight, until the custard has set.
4 Get the icing ready

In a mixing bowl, combine icing sugar with just enough milk to make a thick but smooth icing that’s easy to spread.
For an extra flavor, you can stir in a little vanilla extract or some passionfruit pulp, if you prefer.
Once the slice has set, gently spread the icing over the top layer of pastry.
Pop it back into the fridge for another 20–30 minutes so the icing can firm up.
5 Slice and serve

Cut the slice into four equal parts. Serve and enjoy
